The BY026 is Boyesen's patented dual-stage Power Reed set, engineered specifically for the Yamaha 701 62T and 64X engine. Unlike a standard single-stage reed, the BY026 uses two reeds with different stiffness ratings working together across the full powerband.

The lightweight top reed opens quickly at low RPM and partial throttle, giving you sharper, more immediate response off the line and out of the hole. The stiffer bottom reed is ported for maximum airflow at high RPM, unlocking more top-end power where it counts. Together, they react faster and more accurately to engine pressure changes than stock reeds can.

The result: stronger acceleration, snappier throttle response, and more usable power throughout the entire rev range.
